| Catherine Riseley is the instructor for ED 294 Introduction to Multicultural Education, ED 285 Introduction to Classroom Management, and ED 297B Field Experience in Education. Cathy holds a Master of Education in Early Childhood/Elementary from Marymount University in Arlington, VA and a Bachelors of Science degree in Outdoor Recreation Administration from Radford University in Radford, VA. She has 17 years of teaching experience at elementary and middle schools on the mainland, the Marshall Islands, Hawaii Independents Schools & the D.O.E.. She is a founding member and served as elementary coordinator for Leeward's first K-12 Independent College Preparatory Academy. Before joining Leeward Community College she was writing Standards Based Marine Science Curriculum through a NOAA grant for Hawaii's D.O.E. Cathy will be developing ED297O Standards Based Science for the Elementary Classroom for Spring 2008. | ||
