How to Apply

You need to apply to Leeward Community College and be accepted before you can attend classes at LCCW. The following documents are required to complete your acceptance into LCCW.

1. Prospective students may obtain the UH System Common Application Form from the LCC website (http://www.lcc.hawaii.edu/index.php?q=AdmissSysapp), or from the LCCW office.
   
   
2. A current tuberculosis (TB) test clearance (within one year of the start of the semester) is required. Record of two mumps, measles, and rubella (MMR) shots is also required. Both clearances must be submitted with the application. Your application will not be processed without the clearance papers.
   

Application and the clearance papers may be submitted to the LCCW office or mailed directly to Leeward Community College Admission & Records Office.

COMPASS Placement Testing

COMPASS Placement testing is available at LCC Wai‘anae Monday-Friday by appointment only.  Please contact Scott or Emi at (808) 696-6378 to make an appointment.

Before making an appointment, make sure you have the following:

1. Picture ID (driver’s license, state ID, military ID, or school ID)
2. LCC Letter of Acceptance OR Wai‘anae Health Academy Testing Ticket

Important Campus Closure Notice
Leeward Community College- Wai‘anae and Leeward Community College in Pearl City will be closed to the public on the following days: November 26-27, December 21-January 1. New students who have been accepted by LCC before the closure dates must complete COMPASS placement testing before December 18th in order to register for spring classes. Call 696-6378 to schedule COMPASS testing with Scott or Emi.

Classes for the Spring 2010 semester begin on January 11, 2010. Students can register for classes online through their UH Portal during the closure dates. Students who need academic advising and assistance with registration and financial aid should plan ahead. Call 696-6378 to make an appointment with Jean StavRue before December 18th or during the week of January 4th.
