LCC Information Literacy Exam is an assessment
tool for LCC Information Literacy Tutorial. Before taking the
exam, you should carefully study the
tutorial.
- All students in ENG100 are required to complete the LCC Information
Literacy Exam for ENG100.
- The deadline for Fall 2008 is
December 14, 2008.
Individual instructor deadlines will
supersede the
semester-end deadline.
- The LCC Information Literacy Exam is only available online.
- You will have two
attempts to get a passing grade.
- You need to use your UH portal username and password to access the
exam.
- The passing grade for ENG100 is 18 points
(72%). There are 25
questions. Each question is worth 1 point.
- If you still do not pass after
two attempts, your access will be
blocked until you contact a librarian for
tutoring. You need
to fill out the Tutoring Form (also
available in the LCC Library) and have your instructor sign the form. After you
turn in the Tutoring Form with your instructor's signature, you can
schedule a tutoring session with a librarian at 455-0390 or email
Norma Matsukawa, Instruction Librarian, at
normam@hawaii.edu.
- If you took the exam in Spring
2008 or Summer 2008, you can request the grade be transferred to
your current instructor. Please fill out an LCC Library Test Score
Request Form at the Reference Desk or
call Norma Matsukawa, Instruction Librarian, at 455-0672.
