Welcome to the new LCC Student Health Center
Beginning February 1, 2008, the Student Health Center at Leeward Community College will be operated as a satellite of the University Health Services Manoa. We will strive to meet the health care needs of the students and LCC community.
The following services and hours will be effective from February I through June 30, 2008. Services and hours may be adjusted according to demand at a later date.
Nursing Services 9 AM - 1 PM Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday
- TB (PPD) skin tests
- Immunizations - MMR, Tetanus, Hepatitis A & B, Meningitis, Flu, and others
- Minor nursing urgent care and referrals.
Physician Services 9 AM - 1 PM Mondays
- General medical visits for illnesses and injuries
- Physical Exams
- Women's Health/Family Planning service (by appointment)
Charges/Fees
Please provide your health insurance information. Insurance claims submissions will be made for physician visits and other services.
If you do not have insurance, there will be charges for physician services, tests, and immunizations.
Out-of-pocket payments are expected at the time of service, to be paid at the LCC
Cashier's Office. Statements for balances due will be sent from the Manoa office. A financial "hold" will be placed on your records for outstanding balances over 30 days.
Eligibility
Students enrolled at Leeward Community College and paid the per semester health fee are eligible for services. Students at West Oahu may use the services with a visit surcharge of$15 each semester. Faculty and staff at LCC and UHWO may use the services and claims will be submitted to their insurance plans.
